Lands’ Brooches

Lands’ Brooches is an ongoing series of Dongyi Wu that explores the unstable boundary between the human body and the natural environment. Through soft, body-based forms, the works merge anatomical structures with landscapes, roads, shadows, and terrain, allowing the body and landscape to appear as extensions of one another. Across their surfaces, fabric strips suggest grass, while mixed materials evoke traces of human activity, creating a layered field where bodily, natural, and human-made presences coexist.
